I think I will replicate your steps, and let you know how it goes.

For my own case, I will have difficulty closing all my accounts - since my employer uses options link (an E*Trade service) for options and also for the employee stock purchase plan. It would end up being inconvenient at best for me to have my trading accounts in the hands of another broker. But if things go on as they are . . .

I will keep trying, and who knows, maybe short the bejeezus out of it, if I can get a clear picture of just how sleazy they have become, and other factors remain as they are.

As I said before, complaints in comparison to Schwab computes out "no contest!"

btw, ETurd had some pretty cool Super Bowl commercials.

the worse was: Mlife----three farking crappy ads. Couldn't understand what it was about. fwiw, it's Met Life.
