My wife, Maribeth, took me to see "A Beautiful Mind" yesterday following with a dinner at Wolfgang Pucks here in Evanston. The movie is about the incredible story of the life of John Nash, the mathematician from Princeton who from the world's perspective - and by his own admission - would be commonly refered to as "crazy". The acting was powerful and as I was watching the movie I could see aspects of myself, but not in a negative light. When we look back on the pattern of what passes for history, what the world calls "crazy" is frequently the tonic that's required to move us all higher in truth, higher in understanding, etc. But these aspects of craziness are really part of the Divine Code of genius which already exists and is just sitting out there waiting for someone - , anyone, everyone - to tap into and freely share with others. Unfortunaly, when the selfish, egoic mankind discovers things there's always this claim aspect which creeps in from without or within which has to be overcome before the pristine truth of what was discovered can be understood in a way that benefits ALL. The individual who called frantically to tell Maribeth to take me to see this movie was John Hussman (www.hussman.com) who I went to school with here at Northwestern and who I would regard as one of THE most brilliant mathematical minds I have ever had the good fortune of meeting. John and I worked together in financial trading research for the better part of a year, years ago and he's now managing some $50+ million in his own mutual fund. With a doctorate in economics from Stanford, an undergraduate degree in economics from Northwestern and an Masters in Education from Northwestern, he's still the very happy, simple, fun musician who I knew here in Evanston who I offloaded my financial ghost writing charting work to late one afternoon years ago while we were going to school. John studied under John Nash during his graduate years and was profoundly impacted by the experience. For this is "the craziness" that is the light of this world. What passes for "crazy" by mankind's definition oftentimes of simply the Light of ONE lighthouse which, like a beacon, illuminates the surroundings for those sailing the seas in this "process of becoming" we are all part of sharing with each other. This isn't Light that any of us can claim. For it's His Light. It's the Light from the Divine Soul which every individual was given by our ONE Lord God in Heaven. This is the Light that already exists! All the answers and all of creation has already been created!! They are just "out there" waiting for willing and humble minds, hearts and souls to receive and share with others. But if Love isn't the guilding force opening up these New Channels of Light then whatever light or truth gets extracted will be conditional and relative which will be used against others for personal gain, etc. And you are right, Bill.... >>.... the closer we look the more apparent it becomes that the term "objective reality" is essentially meaningless.>> The brilliance of John Nash's genius was not rooted in "objective reality" nonsense.
