<<I don't know what you found so "delightful" about Mr Ernest Hollings. The fact that a man with this little mental power and command, can actually lead a committee in Congress; wasting our tax dollars chasing ghosts>>

I'm not a DemoRat, however, I find it singularly delightful that he chose to run down the number one apologist for corporate accounting fraud, namely the current SEC chairman-cum-counsel-for-Arthur-Andersen, Harvey Pitt. Sorry that distresses you....as for "wasting our tax dollars", it's hardly a waste when those who have negligently refused to perform their fiduciary duties (ie, the Enron BOD and the accountants who allegedly audited them) are at long last brought to task. It's LOOOOONG overdue, and in fact it's a necessary step in clearing the markets of the detritus blocking any meaningful recovery. Or would you rather have the U.S. follow Japan down the path of allowing sham companies to masquerade as viable financial entities (and wasting trillions of dollars in corporate welfare taxes to keep them propped up).

Best regards

Patron

<<Hollings has less intelligence than Ken Lay has financial skills.
>>
Are you insinuating that Lay didn't know what was going on?

Hollings has a way of speaking that some people hear as redneck stupidity. Phonemic prejudice.
