ET has its glitches but it works for me 99% of the time. This thread and the Market Trader are thread are useful for comparing notes during outages.

If I wasn't so comfortable with the Market Trader interface I might switch to another broker. I have a Datek account but I don't like their interfaces much, certainly not for more than the occasional trade.

Yes, I am still with them. Dale is right though, they are much better. I too have a Datek account that I hardly ever use anymore - they have lower commissions, but I didn't see anything much better than Etrade which was giving me the perks for being an active trader. My biggest complaint is with their customer service. It stinks - on any given day you can ask the same question to three people there and get three totally different answers. Here was my latest problem that I tried calling Etrade about and no one knew what I was talking about:http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=16994922

By the way, Etrade has a brand new site you might want to check out - it's pretty good.
