No wonder you didn't provide the links. CR's post you just cited came the day before you were banned. And only one poster said you had an "agenda" following your banning, yet you claimed we "continued to bash" you.

You lied. Why?

I reviewed the course of the argument. I think it was a legitimate call to terminate an unproductive argument that was absorbing everyone's attention and becoming increasingly insulting. Furthermore, it seems to me that the comments once you were shut out merely explained your banning and expressed relief. I got banned by Poet after one or two comments, taking exception to something on the Left Wing Porch. Again, when the thread heading was pointed out to me (I had received a link by PM), I accepted being banned. I certainly would never think of taking it up months later. Once you accept moderated threads, finding it tiresome to have to defend the thread, rather than get on with it, is to be expected.........

By the way, I want to point out that I made one courtesy post, then stopped posting on the Bin Laden thread, because I do not like being on the lookout for enemies. I had even forgotten it was there. But even had I paid more attention, it would never have occurred to me to make a big deal out of "chilling effects" and "PC"-ness, when people were blowing off steam, and one was not obliged to read it. It seems to me rather pompous to put up a soapbox on such a thread to defend free speech, as if that is the sole venue for discussion, or as if it were so culturally powerful that it would affect much of anyone.......
