Wish I had the exact info in front of me, but Sprint mailed us a notice of a rate increase on our son's phone at college recently....then read in the newspaper that two other major phone companies did exactly the same thing at the same time.

The government's desire to promote "competition" in the industry has not only NOT saved consumers much money, but wrecked the industry at the same time, in my opinion.
