I have had several friends who were Swiss. They're whole take re these guns is very different.....its for the defense of their country, not to rob a bank. Its hard to explain the difference in perception.

Almost no gun owners view their guns as something to be used to rob a bank.

I just bought one of their K31 straight pulls. Nice old gun, in fairly good shape.

That swiss K31 is a beauty: mactec.e-gun.com

Schmidt-Rubin K31 Carbine, cal. 7.5 mm Swiss. Adopted by the Swiss military in 1933, the Swiss Karabiner 1931 is often referred to as the 'Swiss watch' of rifles.
