Correct..Jack...but they had better luck buying off Republicans. about a 4 to one ratio.

I'm glad to see that you don't take this seriously..I was just hoping that some religious Republican would take the bait...

I think that Bush is underestimating the Enron problem.

You are right that greed played a big part in the mess. My calculations would be that an Enron employee that lost about 1 million in a 401 K actually invested about $40,000.
Enron matched these contributions dollar for dollar. So the $40K became $80K and with the advantage of time in 15 years it became 1 million.
Now these folk could have bailed out 900K, 800K, 700K,
600K and all the way down to 100K. But greed kept them in.
Heck we all make those errors. (but not of that magnitude)
