>>>Bush is still looking clean <<<

He's going to give the teflon Presidents of years past a run for the money. But his administration is not looking clean. Cheney, with his Enron colorful Enron ties, use of the Enron Jets, private consultations with Enron, his intersession for Enron in the India powerplant thing...all these give him good reason to hide out.

>>>I'd say it's a biased opinion, <<<

Gee I didn't think it showed....I was trying to keep it hidden...:)

>>>the politicians who ran "on their own money<<<

Interesting that you used two well known Democratic examples and skipped the Republican ones. (Bloomberg)

Bush is getting plenty of leeway...but he will be getting less if his search for Bin Laden goes no where and he tries to widen the War into Iraq and Iran. There is no Northern Alliance to help out in those countries.
