Sorry I ain't buying these statistics....sounds like a lot of gun owners have a hero complex combined with an overactive imagination. The 1.5 million figure was from a federal government study. Gary Kleck is a liberal who is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International USA, Independent Action, Democrats 2000, and Common Cause. When he started his inital study he expected it to support the case for gun control, but he was open minded enough to look at the facts and allowed the facts to change his mind. Sorry, Tim, I don't care who Kleck is, I don't buy those statistics. I don't buy the numbers from the surveys with lower figures either. I think its American fantasy at its best. ted
