I think that's because ltb&h has fallen into disrepute these days, and justifiably so based on a 2 year window, and many of us that have held are tired of having our faces rubbed in it. It's funny about all that, because 2 years ago I kept getting quarterly reports from a value fund I owned in which the poor manager bemoaned the fact that his investment approach had gone out of style. He stuck to his guns, though, and was up 40% last year. This whole manic depressive back and forth about whether XYZ is a good investment, with the underlying message that the poster is a genius and the postee is a moron has gotten old. There is a different spirit on SI than when I first began lurking here-although I haven't run into Sir Auric Goldfinger in quite a while, so there is something to be thankful for.
