Most of us out here have Real Jobs; we're not federal employees whose job happens to be specialization in the arcana of the federal government.

I haven't been a federal employee for close to 20 years. What I pick up is in the newspapers. What I picked up on contracts was from working both sides of the fence. BTW, what I did as a Federal employee I consider far more significant and of value than anything I've done as a contractor.

How many similar posts by liberals would you like me to produce for you? Or do they get a pass?

I rarely read op-ed pieces unless someone directs me to it, let alone post them. Generally, I think the conservatives focus a lot more on op-ed pieces than the liberals. To the point it's virtually exclusive.

There's a war on, man. Didn't anybody tell you?

$320 Million to develop school National Achievement Tests is a war objective?
$250 Million for Enron...
$600 Million to add to GM's $8 Billion in Cash...
Farm subsidies for not planting...
How many Billions was it for SDI, with the Intelligence Community consensus that it was was worse than useless.
70 ton artillery pieces....Gag.

That's an amazing justification, that we're about to hear for everything under the sun, on the list that has been brewing for years. Regardless of how many troops are really needed, "it's the budget, man, tell everybody to get their wish-lists!!"

In fact, we have just heard the second-biggest crime of them all slide right by, and it was ho-hum... the war, you know.

"$2 Trillion unaccounted for in Defense Department expenditures"

Oops... wonder where that darn two trillion went.

No worries. Everything is under control.
