Re: HC. Nice bounce. There's a ton of short interest and almost all the trade volume( 97% ) is institutional. What's the shorts story? And where are those properties HC bought from SLB last summer -- the ones in South America. Hopefully you won't tell me Argentina. OOPs. Venezuela and Argentina.

Looks like it could be a reasonable stock.

tgptndr, I thought South America was AES's problem, not HC. There are so many problem companies that its hard to keep their stories separate.

As I understand it, HC got its first haircut because it had exposure to ENE. Turns out the dollar amount was only $300,000 and everyone got over it. Then someone saw that it was involved in offshore partnerships but HC convinced everyone that not all off shore partnerships are created equal.

The two dollar drop yesterday was because a law firm filed a lawsuit on behalf of investors. They are claiming that HC is lying about certain fees. I didn't find out til last nite and so could not fathom what the two dollar drop was all about. Today the stock closed up over a dollar on heavy volume.

I am confused. ;~)) And for that reason I am going to cash and sitting this one out.
