Gold, I donot consider engineers are a conservative lot. There are very few lefty loons who are engineers. Engineers are a common sense lot. I donot define conservative those who find lefty loons stupid retards. Manufacturing engineers in general focus even more on the process of the possible and what really works. But again I don't think I would characterize the difference as some generic political conservatism.
