IGIT. You said..." I can not tell you how many conversations I have been in with non-Muslims that know relatively nothing about the Muslim writings, and they come to the defense of the Muslims. I mean I show them Islamic verses in context, and with no reason they always say the clearly negative content and tone of them must be able to be explained away.".... IMO there are generations of people in our countries that have been taught as part of their education to be tolerant and defensive of others and especially religious groups, it is how we were taught that our countries were meant to be. Freedom and equal rights for all even our enemies and even when they kill us and even when they tell the whole world that they want to kill us all. At all cost we must be tolerant even if it kills us. I kind of think its like what has been said here a few times, born a Christian raised a Christian you are a Christian, born a muslim/islam raised a muslim/islam you are a muslim/islam and born and raised to be politically correct then you are politically correct even if it kills you. To be labeled a racist or intolerant of others in our countries is THE BIG SIN. If you don't believe me just ask a politician :-) Guess I was born before it was the in thing to be politically correct and for that I am thankful, I am free to think on my own. Take care Lorne
