Thanks, but I wasn't looking for condolences. We endured the Potato Famine, the Depression, the Holocaust, and eight years of Clinton. <g>

I'm concerned about Congress and the media using people's exercise of their Constitutional rights against them, for political purposes. Doesn't sit well with me at all.

Our Constitutional 5th Amendment Right is supposed to protect one against self incrimination. Yet, today, February 7, 2002, several people's assertion of their 5th Amendment Right has been suggested by both Congressional members and the media to be tantamount to admissions that they have committed crimes that they want to cover up.
Not true.

This is bad, and somebody ought to make a big stink about it. This is more important to civil rights than the more public and appealing scene of Ashcroft putting a drape over a statue, even if left wing dunces don't think so.
