If you look like a rotten thief, but refuse to defend yourself, and leave to others to prove your guilt, how would you deal with it? Justice is gained by due process at least, and sometimes not even then, as we know.

How would you change it?

We endured the Potato Famine,
Ah! You're Irish. My family left the Emerald Isle during the Famine- -1853. With their young son. Who, 9 years later, got the opportunity to get involved in America's big feud- -the Civil War- -and get wounded, captured, and spend two years in Andersonville Prison.

I'm very glad they did it, though.
