tejek, re: I think what's happening is that they're talking to both and by saying "Intel architecture", they're telling Intel if you don't come thru with the price we want, we're going to AMD. Actually, Sun already sells Intel and AMD based systems ever since they bought Cobalt. Before that they sold K6-2 cpu's in the SBUS SunPC card, and before that the major league flop Sun i386 system. I'm not so sure Sun is dictating anything to Intel or AMD. Once again AMD's lack of a good multi-cpu chipset may deny them the sales so many people hope for.
