The info we get from Intel employees collectively (not singling Tench out) is always more optimistic, paints the company in a better light than it eventually turns out.

In my opinion, it is not possible for someone working for a large company and in a position to have inside information to not have at least a FEW genuine negative thoughts/opinions/comments about SOME of the things that are going on. And yet.....we have the Intel stooges who seem to post only positive information/positive thoughts/positive outlooks/ for ANYTHING Intel. It's just not "real" In my opinion, these people are not genuine and I will continue to classify them as Intel paid stooges until convinced otherwise. Are these people so intimidated by Intel that a negative thought simply never enters their mind? How long do you think they would be posting here if suddenly they included negative prospects for some future Intel products? And, please don't equate them with posters like NiceGuy or Dan3. These are INTEL EMPLOYEES. Is there nothing that goes on within Intel that bothers them?? I looked up that AMD guy that Milo mentioned on TMF. What a breath of fresh air! I didn't get through a dozen of his posts before he was pissed of at Jerry for leaking Hammer info and looking forward to his retirement. Despite him working for AMD and his ADMITTED biases.... this guy is "real"......."genuine". That's a lot more than I can or will say for the Intel stooges. And, I can assure the thread that my feelings are "real" and "genuine".

Jozef Re...I know I have many times been a naive techie who underestimated the effort needed, and overestimated the benefits of a project.<<<<<<<<

Certainly, that happens to everybody; not just you, I or Tench; and both Elmer and Youseff are more guilty of bias than Tench. And don't we all kind of expect that? Why not just take his advice with that in mind. Plus what TWY said, kind of attacks the person rather than the issue, which is what we are trying to stay away from on this thread.
