Interesting stuff about her live appearance. I had a similar experience once with a John Hiatt/Buddy Guy show. Hiatt opened and put on one of his great animated attention grabbing shows. Guy seemed uninterested and looked as though he would rather be somewhere else, which is how he made me feel and that's where I went about halfway through his part of the show. I've seen Colvin quite a few times (just missed her last year with Lyle) and have always ben impressed. Anyway, glad you did like the tune for your compilation. I haven't heard Maura's version but now you've got me curious. Jerry
