Kemble, Yes, I remember the Dell preannouncement and it was very good. That's why I find it hard to believe that things fell apart in the 2 to 3 weeks since the announcement came out. I do know that Dell has been short some components, such as sound cards. This may have some impact, but how much, I sure don't known. Also, this problem would not be a sign of pc sales falling off. In fact, it might represent an increase in demand and the inability to get the components in time to meet this demand. Oh well, we'll know the full story by next Thursday. Larry
