When does AMAT report? That could throw a damper on chips.

I hope so. AMAT reports Tuesday.

Mish..wonderful summary!. AMAT reports Feb 12th AH, and I think that will probably spark a mini-rally.

but I love your analysis of stocks and stock options.

I remember your calls last month, including QQQ and KLAC, and they were ABSOLUTELY DEAD ON!!

Good job, and I hope you continue posting your thoughts with each expiration week!!!!

Last time I checked I had QQQ max pain at 38
Looking now, I see it is more like 37-38

I hope you are right; since I am looking for a good opportunity to close a lot of long positions.
To me it looks like the Nasdaq is a sinking ship going into this week.

How accurate has the max-pain indicator been for the past few months. I do recall you nailed a couple of months right on.

About Microsoft getting to 65...that would be a long shot.

jmho

Mish, as always, meticulous and well reasoned analysis on expiration week. I see QQQ 37.65 as the maximum upside this week, but I really am not sure if it can be sustained all the way until Thursday or Friday. What are the chances that we get there Tuesday or Wednesday and the MM's hedge that position?
