Iran & Iraq were courting each other before Bush spoke. I can't imagine this happening, Kevin. You would have to show me chapter and verse for me to believe it. It seems to me the war between those two is still too recent for any rapprochement. As for the Iranians you know, have you visited Iran recently? If so, please fill us in. That might be better information than the op ed article writer seems to have. I'm very skeptical of the claim that the Iranian population would not rally behind the mullahs if they felt the US was about to attack them. John
