That is an excellent idea. I will bring it up as soon as they hire me. I am devastated that they haven't called yet; I;m sure it is an oversight- maybe I should go fill out a few more applications.

I hate that they have those computers all over the store but customers can't use them and you can never find a clerk to help you. Why can't I look up a book to see if they have it all by myself?? I suppose they worry about their security? THen why not have a separate system for customers at the front where they can keep an eye on us dangerous criminal types as we check their stock?
I usually go to B&N for specific things. If I;m going to browse I go to Half-Price where it is much cheaper to indulge in impulse buying. And I go to the library first, but it is so hard to get hold of the new books there. I am always on waiting lists. I;m 31st in line for "Violets are Blue". And I just got "The Corrections" after a month long wait.
You have never mentioned your reading preferences, have you? What do you like? (Read any good books lately?)
