The Intel driver update went smoothly. I was less than pleased with the gyrations on installing the Matrox driver update from the Microsoft site. It appears it did finally get installed as the site no longer shows it as needed.

HP, so far so good with the Intel driver. By the way. I mentioned yesterday that I tried to get help through 'Dell Resolution Assistant' and it came up with a defunct Dell website. Well, Dell support told me today this site has been discontinued. It never occurred to anyone at Dell to post that fact on the site? So today I tried to uninstall 'Dell Resolution Assistant' from my PC. It hung up during uninstall. The second try did not work either. Norton finally uninstalled it.

Spam seems on the increase in my e-mail. Some spam says "no need to unsubscribe. This is a one-time mailing"

My Logitech optical mouse pointer jumps while I type, putting text in the wrong place. I guess that's all part of the wonderfulness of computing. :)
