Look at what happened in 2001. The markets down some 10% and the Nasdaq in particular down 21%. Yet, there were spectacular rallies, esp for the Naz, of 41% and 44%. Somebody taking advantage of that would be up over 100%, if he had stepped aside during the declines. If he had gone short during the declines, he would have made even more.

Even the most stupid and moronic of us can play the left hand side of the charts profitably. At least I would think so...
