OH, I almost bought that book at Costco the other day! It looked fascinating. It's on my list for sure now with your recommendation. I just started "The Last Refuge of Scoundrels" (Paul Lussier) amazon.com As the mother of two boys and the owner of a cat who believes that the best dead animal is one brought in and vivisected under the grand piano or a bed, I am decidedly unsqueamish. I also grew up in the Blue Ridge where a favorite pasttime was pulling he big fat ticks off our dog and then jumping on them.
