Next, is there any reason at all why Christian leaders would necessarily agree with the INTERPRETATION of those facts (if they exist)? And not by way of P.S., what is a FACT in your lexicon (since maybe we are talking about two different notions)? "nowhere do I find evidence of any reverence or respect for anything outside of himself" This is not surprising, and a common REACTION of people encountering Adi Da. Reactivity occurs when preconceptions and expectations are met with "something else". Relative to the FIRST book I sent you, you were already in this mode BEFORE even reading the first of Adi Da's words, entitled "First Word". You are characterizing Adi Da as lacking reverence and respect for others. Relative to WHAT? My suggestion is that the answer is: "relative to what Bill's conception of what reverence and respect for others SHOULD BE". So my take on it is that you are comparing YOUR CONCEPTION of what Adi Da is saying with YOUR CONCEPTION of what Adi Da SHOULD BE. No praise, no blame, but that is the situation in which we all are. More or less a hall of mirrors, otherwise known as the ego or self-contraction. That is not a commonly accepted conception, and the ego is NOT INTERESTED in learning about it. It is too threatening. I wasn't interested in learning about the specifics of my egoity, and still am not. Neither is the egoic Bill. But that's not all there is to me, or Bill. And THAT PART is what Adi Da is primarily pointing to. Namaste! Jim
