Reactivity occurs when preconceptions and expectations are met with "something else". Relative to the FIRST book I sent you, you were already in this mode BEFORE even reading the first of Adi Da's words, entitled "First Word". You are characterizing Adi Da as lacking reverence and respect for others. Relative to WHAT? My suggestion is that the answer is: "relative to what Bill's conception of what reverence and respect for others SHOULD BE". So my take on it is that you are comparing YOUR CONCEPTION of what Adi Da is saying with YOUR CONCEPTION of what Adi Da SHOULD BE.>> It may sound like a broken record for what passes for "reality" in mankind's conditional/relative world IS a broken record!! But here goes!! Mankind's religion is about the worship of self and ego which is nothing more and nothing less than the belief and worship in limits, conditions, definitions which, by design, only seek to get, take, control, claim and consume the unconditional Light, Energy and Love that can only come from ONE End which is our ONE Lord Father in Heaven who is the creator of all that is, was or ever will be, etc. But the religion of our ONE Lord Father in Heaven has absolutely nothing to do with all this crap. For our Lord's perfect Light, Energy and Love is infinite and unconditional. And it can only be received, experienced and shared across this New Plane of His Freedom. And you can throw everything, everything that mankind claims to create and build and monitor completely OUT these Old Windows where the Lion of this Same Ole, Same Ole Black Hole Sleeps Tonight!! For the Lion of of this New Day isn't sleeping!! He's running and playing and singing in these New Fields in this New Day in this New Light of this New Age!! The Old Age of worshipping conditional, relative existence is passing and will be totally, completely transcended as this the New Light, Energy and Love of our ONE Lord God in Heaven is received by more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more individuals in ways that will duplicate, replicate and radiate and spread in this wonderfully glorious New Age that is dawning upon mankind. Anything and everything that goes into His perfect plan of redemption and revelation has already been created!! All we have to so is be ready, willing and humble enough to freely receive, share and celebrate it!! This is what "unconditional reverence" and worship is all about. Cheers, singing, dancing, helping and serving.....forever and ever and ever with NO LIMITS!!! I am not saying what Adi Da is. I am describing my experience of Adi Da based on what I have been exposed to of him so far. Your experience is obviously very different based on a different set of exposures. To the extent that my experience does not reflect Adi Da's intentions is the degree to which they have not been effectively communicated. If one stipulates that the "transmission" is inerrant then of course one will reach the conclusion that this is the result of the "reception" being faulty. If I were to reverse your argument about conceptions I could stipulate that since the reception was clearly perfect that the problem is obviously a faulty transmitter, but I see nothing to warrant either stipulation. More likely the transmission medium of language is a major contributor, but unfortunately we have no other medium at our disposal here.
