EMKR has a black eye because of their relationship with UTCI. Millions of dollars in investment and also a few million shares of UTCI stock that are basically worthless at this stage in the process. Even with this dark cloud over their head, I suspect they are similar to many stocks that have had their long term futures discounted based on short term difficulties. One of the keys to trading this group would be to only attempt them after a market sell-off. During a market retrace/down move, there will probably be too much selling pressure.

I have established a position in AXTI over the past 2 days. We'll see how it goes.

KOPN reports this week, if my memory serves me. It will be interesting to see if they continue to see forward sequential growth or if, like so many, they still enough weakness to call for flat to lower revenues.

I don't like the EMS companies at this stage and, like you, I might be interested in FLEX at a lower price.
