Snowshoe,

What I have been trying to communicate is that IMO most people do not understand what is available to protect against devaluation of local currencies. Yes, there are many ways to hedge currencies, but the general public is not informed on the options available to them. Suspect that the general public does not consider this a problem until it has happened. IMO, most people use their local banks to manage their finances. Yes, in this country a fair number of people own 401k's, but I have never talked to anyone locally that owns a 401k that tries to hedge against the US$ with this basket of assets.

Enough said.
