Open question. Is there some objective criterion for being an Arab? Is it purely self selection? Is Egypt Arab because they say they are and Turkey isn't because they say they aren't?

Iran is not an Arab nation.

ok....they are persian....there is no doubt....but right now the Iranians are very close to turning the corner....how can the US Ignore and Dis this development? It's state department insanity and you can bet that Colin Powell DID
