Since WWII, I think it's true that every military action of significance that we've been involved in the Europeans have been there with us.....if not in actual combat then in supporting rolls.... Can you think of any that they haven't.
In Vietnam, I think, we had the leanest support but then we haven't been involved in Ireland, Algeria, Chad, and turned the other way in Rwanda when the French and Dutch were there.
