I tend to agree. Despite all the positive spin, I don't see much change in the business, especially given the high valuations. I think it is possible that we may see gradual improvement in the business without much change in the stock price. Until the CIO seriously step up to the plate, I'd be very selective on technology.

On a related note, I am in agreement with Gates that the biggest hurdle in front of technology is (the lack of) broadband. This is why long ago I said that until NT comes out with strong numbers (or news of such) all technology rallies remain suspect.

AD,

Watching your trading sure is an education. I hope you stick around for a while so I can follow along.

One lesson I've picked up from you is to emulate your casual 'FWIW' attitude. For me, at least, a more intense state of mind is not a good thing. Picturing trading as a form of mortal combat isn't helpful, and trying to mentally juggle a dozen indicators isn't as effective as just trading what I see.

ST Trading FWIW, I reversed course and went with the short play here averaged at $46.83 (3,000 shares - just havin' some fun).
