Hello Sultan. You said...." For a country or people to prosper, you need education, opportunities, industrious population, law and order, access to capital, etc... Just because majority of the country is Muslims does not equate to anything as far as it goes if the country is mired in corruption, unemployment etc.".....

So would you say that Saudi Arabia and some other Arab countries could be considered rich nations. With all the US$ from oil and just outright aid in US$ why are they still considered poorly educated. Why do the very rich families in these arab countries send their children to the USA, Canada, England etc. for a proper education, why is top quality not available in these countries....Could it be because they are all muslim/islam religion controlled countries??? Why don't the monarchs and mullas share the wealth with the citizens of their countries. Do the monarchs and mullas fear that well educated people will eventually understand how they have been controlled??

And all above would not be possible unless you have freedom of choice, expression and thoughts (which are the basic requirements for the foundation of prosperity in any society). And I submit to you that Islam does not provide freddom of choice, expression and thoughts, and hence Islamic countries will never be prosperous!
