nope, I expect his read is the forks will hold and since the slope's are still negative for the sma's even though today's close was slightly above the tine, I fully expect it to drop back in tine<g> and we'll see the S+P fall accordingly with target around 350-pts below...overall...NOT Good... Don't know if you've read Don Sew, or not but we have a Class sell today and if we Gap up at all tomorrow it'll be a class 1 if the gap holds thru the close tomorrow...I fully expect we'll head down at expiry or immediately thereafter and keep going down from there<ng> PS I have no position except a small bet on the highly speculative SA miner DROOY, which has had some insider sales late last month and early this month...

Nice thing about a good working TA method that has fallen out of use. It should work well for a long while before to many folks are working it over ..

C4T is correct about my thinking. The index could well pull back inside the fork. In that case I would call the close today a good test of the fork. When a fork is tested and it wins, the fork is stronger. So then .. we pull back now and have a fork that's been tested once or we move up to pull back from the 200 SMA and then we have a fork that's been tested twice already. Either way we have a strong fork that shows a potential 350 point SPX fall ..
