Hi Harry, the VIX - Expirations - low volume scenario is interesting.. the max pain would be to run this up into expiration if they can, the public doesn't seem to be involved heavily either way. There's also been positive spins on how the economy and techs have bottomed and turned up. Looks to me like a set up for a move down next week through the end of the month if they can push it up into expiration.. but this market has been shoved around so much its walking like its in a stupor waiting for the next shoe to drop.

London Pacific Advisors (LPA) and Advisors Edge Enter Strategic Partnership
LONDON and SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- London Pacific Group Limited (NYSE: LDP - news; London Stock Exchange: LPG) is pleased to announce that Advisors Edge, Inc., a nationwide consortium of financial advisory firms, has selected LPA's web-enabled separate account consulting services and advanced technology to deliver financial solutions to its wealth management consultants and their clients.

This strategic partnership provides member firms across the country with access to a complete range of sophisticated fee-based investment choices as well as state-of-the-art front and back office technologies. The program includes a blended platform of separate account managers (SAMs) and mutual funds, all of which have passed LPA's highly regarded, comprehensive due diligence process.

Additionally, the fully automated system provides Advisors Edge wealth management consultants with instant access to client data management tools, asset allocation, manager search, investment selection, client proposals, portfolio analyses, and investment policy statements, all of which add considerable value when working with high-net-worth clients. LPA will also be providing portfolio accounting, monitoring, performance reporting, and invoicing services to member firms.

``Our partnership with LPA enables us to deliver the best fee-based financial services platform in the industry to our member firms. And advisors have access to the best products and institutional investment solutions that very few advisors can bring to their ultra high-net-worth clients,'' said Bruce Carlin, Chairman of Advisors Edge, Inc. ``Since we can now offer investment solutions to meet the whole realm of clients' needs, we believe we can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the largest financial services firms in the country.''

Participating advisor firms will have their own private-labeled websites and will be able to view all of their clients' financial investments on one web-enabled platform. ``This is an exciting relationship for us in part because it integrates multiple products into a single end-to-end solution,'' said Michael Mayer, Chairman of London Pacific Advisors. ``It is a pleasure to work with a forward-thinking group like Advisors Edge who pride themselves on providing their advisors with cutting-edge resources.''

``We chose the LPA platform because they have the technology to deliver our unique package of services to member firms on a very cost-effective and productive basis. They have really worked with us to create a system that is tailored to meet our needs and the needs of our clients,'' said Michael Carlin, C.O.O. of Advisors Edge, Inc. ``And since clients can get all of their investment solutions under one roof with institutional pricing and quality of services, we believe that the Advisors Edge platform remains the best one-source solution for any wealth management firm.''
