Yes, and don't forget that the amendment promoting 'cut rate' pricing for politican's ads went down to flaming defeat.

Goes to show that the broadcaster's lobby is still one of the strongest going.

(Despite the taxpayer give-away of $80 billion dollars worth of bandwidth free to the broadcasters [instead of the FCC holding an auction as was their desire] a few years ago. Seems the taxpayers are to get nothing, not even a dribble of benefit for their largese.)

Right gao....and more people need to be aware of this.....Can we just imagine the power AOLTimeWarner will have over the politicians...????? And they won't have to be accountable dollar-donation wise for it....
