Very positive conference call. Its been a tough couple of years, but Dell has been executing very, very, well, and is phenomenally positioned to exploit their advantages when the economy turns up again. I particularly liked mgt's observation re new accounts producing increasingly large revenues during the 2nd and 3rd year after penetration. Plus the growing population of older, non XP compatible machines. Also very interested to learn that declining component pricing now factors only about 25% of their cost reduction delta. They are making it very tough indeed on the competition, and Walter Hewlet is right -- HP and CPQ cannot compete in this arena.

I'm quite happy to be holding my long position, and for the first time in a long time I am looking forward to the stock doubling or better within the next 12-18 months.

FWIW.

Kemble,

I want to thank you for your outstanding overview of Dell's market and financial position. I would be hard put to name a company with better management and a better business model than Dell.

Give today's economic environment, Dell's performance has been outstanding to say the least.

Larry
