* Triple Witching * AND 20.02 20.02.2002 Well, the Nikkei fell below 10,000 the day before. But only just below. 9922.68 for the Nikkei at the moment and 10873.72 for the Hang Seng. Not long to go to see what the Dow and Nikkei will do on the big day. The Hang Seng looks as though it will Hang in there. The Dow is a whisker Down. The Nikkei is a Nick away. If the three finish the day about 10,000, it is the biggest technical buy signal in human history. There will be roaring international markets, great global prospects, no more Osama muck and George W will go on to enjoy some great times in the first post Y2K presidency. Uncle Al will have to scramble to raise interest rates as fast as he lowered them [well, not quite as fast ... the way up is always less dramatic than the way down - because it's harder to build than destroy]. China, the USA, Japan and Korea are forming an axis of economic power the planet has never seen. This is going to be simply amazing. The axis of evil is a sad joke by comparison. However, if the triple-witching finishes below the event horizon, I fear we will have the biggest global collapse ever and 6 billion people will be in BIG BIG trouble. The Cusp of History is at hand! My guess is the beginning [continuation] of the most amazing and rapid period of development ever after a Y2K judder bar to steady the irrational exuberance of the telecosmic mania surrounding cyberspace.
