You're right, Colmes, Geraldo and Van Susteren color the news left. Fox is just another leftist media whore.

What I also find humorous is that the Republicans say they need "soft money" to counter organized labor's get-out-the-vote drives each fall.

What's so humorous about it?

Tim

Organized Labor's money is just another form of "soft money" cloaked under a different umbrella.

After all, money is money. It either effects political votes or it doesn't. It either helps get people elected or it doesn't. It either assists an organization pass legislation they feel is important, or it doesn't. It either changes voters opinions or it doesn't.

What I find hideous about this supposed campaign finance reform is it limits a citizens group from running ads 60 days prior to an election.

It's called free speech. And the constitution first and foremost protects "political free speech".

The denizens of the left who wish to silence political opinions, or political ideas, or political adds, are not living up to their constitutional duties to protect the First Amendment.

Similar to the many growing left wing threads on SI which limit political free speech, they wish the entire country was like their censoring threads. They fear the dialogue of ideas. They fear the dialogue of political thought, and they fear being held accountable to citizen groups who tell the truth regarding their behavior while in office.

Tom Dashle whining about the recent adds running in his state is a testament to this fear.
