Tim: It appears you missed my point. If organized labor can mobilize America's working men and women (without benefit of hard money, soft money or even green stamps), why can't the Republicans do likewise? DeLay and his stooges had no problem organizing the Izod crowd to riot in Dade County during the Florida recount. So why can't they do similar to get their people to register and vote ... instead of spending millions for misleading attack ads? Looks to me like the Democrats are the party of shoe leather, hard work and grit, while the Republicans are the party of kicking in big bucks to promulgate propaganda.
