"Let me get this right.... I should change my mind about....." No, you haven't got it right. I am not saying what anybody should do. You can consider a comment from someone to put into your pot of information or you can discard it. Up to you. My source is staff within Carphone Warehouse. Agenda? No agenda apart from sharing info. Do you have any info? VLNC says more pogo orders expected soon. That may be true and doesn't contradict anything I have said. But how many more is the question. Would you get excited if total sales turn out to be a few hundred with a few hundred more expected? Did VLNC mention any specific numbers of pogo shipments? I will try to find out the exact number of pogos shipped by the Carphone Warehouse in the UK. It is probable I won't be able to get an exact answer as my sources may not have access to that info.

As a vlnc long, let me say Pogo is not worth a rat's ass. The first shipment was 5k units. That's maybe $50k in revenue for VLNC. Pays for a few days of expenses if they have anything left after materials and shipping. Steve Lee called the distributor and gave you a data point on sales from at least one store and one sales rep. He told you where the info came from. In any case pls use your head. these are cell phone batteries. remember? this is the market Lev didn't even want to get into because you have to sell in the millions of units to even start making any serious money of the kind VLNC needs just to pay their bills. Pogo sells 5k units in 2 months. 20-30 times that would still be totally boring. 100 times that might be interesting if you wanted to be in the cell phone business, that is. you'd be just starting to get your foot in the door.
