OT: Bush cannot create world peace by going to war!!! Nor can he guarantee the safety of everyone on American soil. Some things are just not in our control.

And the damn assumption that everyone in the world, is a "possible threat" is extremely demeaning, alienating and hostile to all who stand not only behind the Flag of our country but those who work for freedom peace and justice.

People due terrible things to other people and have since the beginning of time. (hello Enron) 9/11/01 was not the first or biggest and won't be the last atrocity that a culture, country or civilization will face. Becoming more hostile is not the way to lead the human race out of hostility towards others into understanding and respect for each other. Remember, we aren't fighting against one Hitler,(although we are trying to make Bin Laden seem like he's that character) we are fighting against the very core of human nature, the lack of respect and tolerance for others religions, cultures and point of views.

Any bets on whether Dubya is a 4 year president? I'll take 4. And yes, I highly approve of our action in Afghanistan. Not only for the safety of the US, but the safety of the world and especially for the people of Afghanistan. That was needed! But, from that point is where my approval is rapidly ending.
