... but what are going to be the results on Tuesday? ... if you would just tell me the closing price (give or take 3 points) of the SPX on Tuesday, I would be most grateful ... take your time, you have until just before 9:30 AM ET on Tuesday to let me know ... everybody participate ...

... my guess = 1076.40 ... <g>

Thought I'd look again..

I think you and I are on the same page and are probably misunderstanding each other. I totally agree with what you said on AMZN etc. Hence I used the sentence....

"...sometimes even manipulation and deception to get choice folks in and out)..."

I inserted those words to represent the hype factor. The price action factor that has sometimes/many times nothing to do with a real change in fundamentals. Hence I also said that fundamentals do not dictate the MAGNITUDE of price action.

There are many other factors as we all know that are not taken into account by fundamentals. But initially, the starting point is fundamentals for at least lesser-hyped (no such thing as a non-hyped company/stock) companies/stocks.

Ok. Thanks for the feedback.
