Mq, Joe Six Pack has no idea what is coming with 3G. I was shoing one of my friends the 3G phones on Qualcomm's new 3G website -3gtoday. He was stunned by the fact that he would be able to get voice, long distance, and internet at 3 times his dial up speed.

3G is the long awaited excuse to disconnect the weak cordless phones and dial up modems around the house for something functional.

Here we go again...bashing the GSM machine.

What creative technology can't accomplish, marketing inertia and neighborhood bullies can.

SBC and AT&T are still quite dangerous competitors.
