Pearly, the industrial might of the US played a decisive role in the allied victory in WWII. Certainly the Soviets suffered the greatest loss of life of all the combatants. Good book amazon.com Mike

The Russkies won WW2.

So you think without the US military involvement, as well as all the supplies that we gave to the allied forces, Russia could have single handedly beat the Germans?

Gimme a break.

The Russians won WWII???

How long did Stalin pressure the Western Allies for an invasion of Hitler's Fortress Europe in the West?

How long did Churchill push Roosevelt and Gen.Marshall(and get approval) for an invasion of not Europe, but North Africa to bail out Monty's 8th Army. All to protect British interest in the Med. Then of course Churchill again played his politics and convinced Roosevelt and Marshall again to attack the "soft under belly" of Europe...when in fact the Americans and Russians wanted to invade in Northern France.

I am curious as to why British Ultra records were sealed for 75 years...could it be that Churchill was well aware of what was to transpire on Dec. 7th 1941????? I think yes.

As for the Russians winning WWII: How many divisions were pulled by the Wehrmacht from the Eastern Front to take positions along the Atlantic Wall in anticipation of the Allied Invasion?? Hmmm...Seems to me that alone took a great deal of pressure on Stalin.

No Russia DID NOT win WWII by themselves!! My grandfather was at Normandy and it is an offense to make such a statement.
