I wonder how much of the so-called lost money on Enron would have been lost anyhow due to a down market. I also wonder how much money many of those folks already have cashed in before now.

One of the poster boys of the religious right, Ralph Reed, former head of the Christian Coalition and a GOP strategist, was hired for $10,000 a month by Enron in '97 at the recommendation of Karl Rove.

Enrongate has nothing to do with God, but everything to do with what appears to be a scandal involving Enron, the Bush administration, some members of the religious right and the Republican Party.

Perhaps when I used the term "religious right" in the previous post I was using too broad a brush. I have now qualified that with "some members of the religious right." Thanks for pointing that out.
