usially that would be a contrarian signal. But I think speculating time is not now. I still have a Large gold position now up 70-100% so if we really have a banking crisis I am in eseence hedged. IMHO

I can report to you (all) that ...

despite a medium-sized "Oh my gosh ..." type rally on Thursday and Friday, the short-term interest rate futures are still not really near the levels they reached a few times in the last three months.

If everyone really were scared out of their wits, the short-term interest rate futures should respond.
