After Israel took out a terrorist.org leader or two, the Palestinian response was to up the incidents from 5 to 30 per (day?). And the Israelis have been hitting back in kind. The Hezbollah missiles and the tank mine and the last breach of settlement security are three events that seem to have caused great consternation in the Israeli military command. I am expecting another shoe to drop there soon, with the Israeli response. Quite frankly, I have a deep sense of foreboding about it too. Not just for the repercussions that will be felt there, but for the reverberations which will be felt here. (More on that later.)
